Food Dudes
Food Dudes will take place for one week in December. Food Dudes is a curriculum based healthy eating programme developed to encourage children to eat more fresh fruit and vegetables. Each pupil will taste a variety of different fruit.
Music Generation
We welcome Ray Fahy from Music Generation. He is currently teaching the Ukulele to 3rd 4th and 5th class. Ray has also been composing and performing Rhythmic pieces with the Junior class. They have been using xylophones and shakers and are thoroughly enjoying the lessons.
Trip to North Kerry Museum Ballyduff October 7th
Thanks to Sean Quinlan for a highly informative visit to the museum. All pupils enjoyed examining the different artefacts.
Maths Week October 15th-October 23.
Last week was “Maths’s week.” It is a time when we enjoy Maths in a fun way especially in the world around us.
School Mass
Thanks to Fr Brendan for the beginning of our school year mass which took place on Tuesday October 25th. Thanks to all the parents for the lovely home baking.
Christmas Cards
We are presently taking part in this project. Each child is designing a Christmas card. Parents can purchase a pack of the child’s card for a cost of €5.00 for 10 cards. (Cost price).
Credit Union Poster Competition
Children completed lovely artwork recently for this competition which we entered last Friday. We wish them the best of luck.
