Parent Teacher Meetings
Thank you to all the parents for attending parent teacher meetings in November.
Causeway Comprehensive Variety Show.
Pupils from the senior room attended Ballyheigue Community centre on November 24th for a variety show directed by Oliver Hurley. Fabolous show. Well done to all involved in Causeway Comprehensive.
Well done to all our talented pupils for a wonderful Christmas Show. Thanks to Ms. Casey for preparing the children for playing the tin whistle and thanks to Ray for preparing the children for the Ukulele and Percussion performance. Thanks to our parents for the delicious home baking. It was much appreciated.
Letters to Santa
The children had a great time posting their Santa letters in Causeway, Post Office. They all enjoyed the generous selection box they received from Miriam.
3rd Class Hurling Blitz in Ardfert
Thanks to Giles for organising the blitz in Ardfert. Our 3rd class really enjoyed the day out.
The children are composing lovely Rhythms using tuned percussion, instruments and singing along to Ray’s excellent guitar playing.
In the senior room Ray is teaching the Ukulele. The children are really enjoying the experience of learning a new instrument.
The Junior room learned all about the bakery for Aistear. They set up a bakery shop, decorated pretend cakes and baked cup cakes
Credit Union Winners
Well done to everyone who took part in the Credit Union Art competition. Congratulations to Emma Diggin who received Merit for her picture as well as a trophy and a One 4 All voucher. Well done.
Trish O Riordan
Thanks to Trish for helping our children create some lovely pieces this month. The children in the Junior room hand sewed Christmas buntings. The senior class used the sewing machines and hand sewing to create Winter Caps.
Well done to all the children for the beautiful Christmas Cards they created. Listowel Printing Works did the printing
Causeway Community Playground Project
Thanks to Tommy Moloney for helping us to paint a wonderful mural on a sheet of plywood. We hope it will stand proud for years to come in our new village playground in the near future.
