Sewing Classes
Thanks to Patricia Riordan for her sewing classes in the Junior and Senior classes.
These new skills were extremely helpful to the pupils in the Senior room for their JEP Project.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The school took part in the St Patrick’s day parade in Causeway. The children wore our national colours on the week leading up to St. Patrick’s Day in honour of our saint.
Aistear Programme THE FARM
The Junior room started Aistear this term. This is a framework for active learning through play using role play, make and do and small world activities. Their first theme was the “The Farm” where they ploughed soil, planted potatoes, and milled grain to make flour. Under the theme “Food” They roleplayed running a restaurant, pasta art and they baked brown bread. We are looking forward to more exciting activities over the coming months.
Easter Egg Hunt
Great excitement amongst all our pupils. Well done to all.
