End of Year Mass / Graduation
Mass was celebrated on June 18th. The 6th were presented with booklets: memories of their time here in Scoil Chriost Rí. We especially wish our 6th class pupils all the best and every good wish as they transfer to secondary school.
Mrs. Lynch was presented with a lovely bouquet of flowers and a card to mark her retirement at the end of this year. We thank Mrs. Lynch for her commitment and years of loyal service to our pupils, school, and parish over the last number of years. Mrs. Lynch particularly enjoyed 1st Holy Communion Day which she prepared so diligently every year to the delight of parents, pupils, and priests.

We wish her a happy retirement and best wishes for the future.

Tommy’s Magic Show We had fun and entertainment with Tommy to end our school year in a light hearted way.
Fun Day / Sports Day We enjoyed running and novelty races. The focus of our day being “fun”. It was a great success. Everyone received a medal at the end of it.
Clothes Recycling. We are donating the proceeds of this recycling drive to UNICEF vaccination Programme.
‘My Kerry Biosphere’ Calendar Art Competition – Congratulations to Joanne Canty . Joanne’s picture was one of the selected entries for the 2022 calendar and her picture will be featured on the November page. Well done, Joanne!
Relationships and Sexuality Education
RSE is part of Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE). RSE provides children with structured opportunities to develop the knowledge, attitudes, values, beliefs, and practical skills necessary to establish and sustain healthy personal relationships as children and, subsequently, as adults. All sensitive aspects were covered by visiting teacher Kathleen Wallace.
