Christmas Themed Trip to Killarney.
Whole school visited Knockreer House in Killarney on Thursday 19th December
Shoe Box Appeal – A huge amount of boxes were filled again this year. Thanks to all our families.
Christmas Show – Santa on Strike was a huge git with our audience. It was lovely to have all our families attend and stay for the cuppa after.
Christmas Fair – Causeway Community Action Group held a Christmas Fair in Causeway Sports Hall. THE THEME FOR OUR SCHOOL WAS Cupcakes. Thanks to everyone who helped. The display was amazing.
Credit Union Poster Winners - Congratulations to all the children who took part in this competition and well done to Megan and Ella who received certificates of merit and to Hazel who received a trophy for 2nd place and to Ruth who received a trophy for 1st place.Ruth’s picture now progresses to the County competition. Well Done Ruth! And well done Megan, Ella and Hazel.
Christmas Cards - This year our children designed their own Christmas Cards which were printed by Listowel Printing works and sold in packs of 10 for €5.00. This was a very enjoyable activity for our children.
Internet Safety and New IT skills - Thanks to Declan from Digiwiz who gave us a workshop on Internet safety.He also took the senior classes to polish their IT skills before they venture off to secondary school.
Group Work with 5th Year Students. Thanks to our past pupils from Causeway Comprehensive Eirca and Stacey who spent the week with us. They did great work in both rooms. Great help and all our pupils enjoyed their company.
Music day – All our pupils brought in their instruments or sang or danced to celebrate our Irish heritage of Ceol Agus Rince.
